In accordance with Article 10.2 of the Constitution, fully paid-up members of Makerere University Business School Alumni Association are hereby informed that there will be an Annual General Meeting on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the ADB Lecture Theatre 2, MUBS Main Campus Nakawa.

1.0 The Agenda for the meeting shall be as follows:
a) Membership registration (fully paid-up members present).
b) Opening prayer.
c) Adoption of the Agenda.
d) Communication from the Chairperson and reactions.
e) Chairman’s Report.
f) Consideration of prop0sed amendments of the Constitution
g) Election of Executive Committee Members (Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Treasurer,
Publicity Secretary, General Secretary, Secretary for Women, and other officers as the
Assembly will determine)
h) Swearing in and Handover to the New Executive Committee
i) Closure

2. Eligibility for election to the MUBS Alumni Executive Committee
a) A MUBS Alumni member who has paid the member fee of UGX 10,000 and an annual
subscription of UGX 10,000.
b) Amember who has made a non-refundable payment of UGX 50.000 as an application fee for
election to the Executive Committee.

3. Payment mode:
a) Payment for membership, subscription, and application fee for election to the MUBS Alumni Executive should be paid to: Bank Name- ABSA; Branch- Hannington Road; Account Number- 6003524750 under the Account Name- MUBS Leadership Centre.
b) Proof of payment shall be submitted to the Alumni office by March 10, 2025.

4. Nomination procedure
a) Nomination forms can be picked from the Alumni Office or assessed  below
b) The nomination of the office bearers shall be done during the AGM after secondment by two
eligible MUBS Alumni members.
